  • Bluetooth enabled on phone

Step-by-Step Pairing

  1. Prepare Your Watch: Charge to at least 30%, power on (hold Home button 3 seconds), and factory reset if previously paired.

  • Software updates: Additional 10-20 minutes
  • Total first-time setup: 15-30 minutes

Samsung vs Non-Samsung Phones

Samsung Galaxy Phones: Enhanced integration, exclusive features, faster optimization

Non-Samsung Android: Full core functionality, all health features work, may lack some Samsung-exclusive features

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Detected: Ensure watch is on setup/language screen, move watch closer (within 3 feet), enable Location services on phone, and restart both devices.

  • Pairing Fails: Clear Galaxy Wearable app cache/data, remove old watch from phone's Bluetooth settings, factory reset watch, and retry.
